iPhone Google searches vs the rest of the mobile platforms: 50 to 1

FT.com / In depth - Google homes in on revenues from phones:

“Google on Wednesday said it had seen 50 times more searches on Apple‘s iPhone than any other mobile handset, adding weight to the group’s confidence at being able to generate significant revenues from the mobile internet.”

Mind you, the iPhone uses Google by default (even if you can switch to Yahoo) for web searches, and the iPhone already is the most widely used mobile Internet platform.

Still, it is impressive…
