Actually, the headphone jack hole DOES have quite sharp edges, so maybe it's a manufacturing defect, I'll check if I happen to put my hands on another iPhone...</description>

		<description>In order to sympathise but more importantly, empathise with you I,ve just tried to stick my finger in the audio connecter and/or try to cut myself but to no avail. Try as hard as I could, I couldn't do it.

I must therefore conclude that: you have the fingers of a three year old AND that your phone was not properly finished off and has sharp edges -- in that case, you should definitely sue Apple.

Alternatively, buy a Belkin full leather clad skin which prevents you from injuring yourself.
